What are the pros and cons or some experience when using php/phalcon as a daemon?

If there was a memory leak then it would leak. Probably they would know about it already though.

Memory leaks where?

I'm not saying that there are leaks but its always a risk when running something for a very long time. So I try to keep an eye on this when running any code.

I was digging deep for the potential issues.

Use logs and sOme monitoring systems. We have couple Of daemons in Phalcon running for weeks / month without issues

We also use Phalcon daemons about 7 and haven't seen issues for over a year.

This is really interesting topic.

I also run one part of the system with Phalcon as a daemonized process. Works like a charm after fixing things like loosing DB connection after some period of inactivity etc.
