When I use the Assets manager on my local machine, everything works fine. When I use it on my production server, it produces an empty file without errors.

What could be the cause for this, and how can I find out what's going on? The permissions are ok - the file gets created, it's just that it's empty. Also, same thing happens when I use local or remote resources, doesn't matter which type.
